Thank You!

Thank you for making a dream reality. Thank you for faithfully joining the mission to further God's Kingdom. Thanks to your support, I embarked on the greatest adventure of my life thus far. I grew closer to God, while leading others to do the same. I witnessed God move in extraordinary ways, in a land nearly 6,000 miles away. The trip had a great impact in Ghana and also greatly impacted my life.

While in Ghana, the six of us from Milwaukee spoke personally and extensively with over 40 students at the University of Cape Coast. We also witnessed to hundreds of Africans in the city, village, and rain forest. The people were more than welcoming and eager to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Many students we spoke with had a foundation of knowledge but were not sure of their salvation. Assurances of salvation was the main truth we spoke about while there. We assured the students with verses like,
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast."
(Ephesians 2:8-9)
and
"And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in
his Son. He who has the son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does
not have life." (1 John 5:11-12).

I witnessed personally and for the first time, two students receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. It was amazing and humbling to be used by God for such a purpose. You can read the story below, titled 'His Name is Daniel'.

The entire trip made my purpose in life so clear, to know God and make Him known. I have gained a passion for missions and a heart for the nations. Since getting back, the Lord has presented me with another opportunity in missions, through the World Race. The World Race is an 11-month mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. Recently, the Lord opened the door for this opportunity, as I have been accepted for the October race. You can find more info on this mission at http://updates.theworldrace.org/?filename=october-2009-world-race-route Please keep this in your prayers!

Thank you again so much for your support. I was incredibly blessed to be a witness in Ghana, Africa. Nyame Nkyiraw! (God bless you!).
